This Baird TV was dead - We restored power by repairing the power supply circuit to component level.
Once power was restored it became apparent there was a further problem - the TV had no picture.
We soon traced the problem to a faulty backlight - We stripped the screen down and repaired the backlight to restore the picture.
To keep the repair viable and ensure the TV was reused rather being scrapped and recycled, we charged our customer for just the backlight repair only.
